I speak English, French, and Spanish. Can you speak? Do you have the look? Do you know how to catch? I worked hard to check off all those boxes.”

Escobar later recounted receiving a call in the afternoon confirming that he had been fired.
He said the news hit him particularly hard, as he was already in a depressive phase. Nevertheless, he pulled himself together and managed to reboot in Mexico, moving forward toward what lay ahead.
