Steven Borden returned from injury on AEW Dynamite on October 21, 2026, with his sights set on a ticket to Blood and Guts.
Indeed, Borden came back alongside Darby Allin to assist Adam Copeland and Will Ospreay, who had been targeted by an assault from the Don Callis Family. Borden then grabbed the microphone to declare that he was back, and back for the Blood and Guts special.
Borden had been out of action since All Out 2026 at the end of September due to a concussion. AEW had indicated that Borden was doing well despite the alarming footage, but that he would need to undergo further tests to obtain medical clearance. Last week it was reported that he was backstage at Dynamite organizing this return.
Here he is back, and his mission is Blood and Guts. A Dynamite-themed show slated for November 4, 2026, and everything suggests that the teams to lock horns inside the cage will be the Don Callis Family against the AEW roster. The AEW side currently includes Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland, Darby Allin, Steven Borden, and the Young Bucks.
