– The TNA Impact show opens with the Hardy Boyz arriving to the ring. Matt Hardy states that tonight will be a very special night for them and for Hardy fans. Tonight we celebrate 35 years of the Hardy Boyz. 35 years of ladders, tables, chairs, cages, suffering and broken bones. They have taken risks that others advised against. Tonight they will celebrate, and they are the ones who arranged the evening’s matches.
They then invite Amazing Red to join them in the ring. The Hardys congratulate Red for making history in TNA and for doing it again at Bound for Glory. Red returns the compliment. They then introduce Leon Slater. Slater says that 35 years is crazy. The Hardys were there before he was born. Slater notes that the Hardys and Red share a connection with the fans that will endure forever. He also wants people to remember him. On Saturday he became the youngest World Champion in TNA history. He’s here to tell us not to doubt and that everything will be fine someday. His title proves it today; we must be brave and the world can belong to us. Now he is ready to face anyone.
The Hardys select Elijah, Jason Hotch, Ricky Sosa, Trey Miguel, and Moose to compete in a Ladder Match, with the winner earning a title shot for the World Championship at Destination X.
– Behind the scenes, Nic and Ryan Nemeth talk things over. Nic says he deserved a title rematch and isn’t even in the contender’s match. The Hardys want chaos within their duo, but that won’t happen. We already know who should win this match: Ryan must do the right thing. Ryan wonders what would happen if he wins. Nic jokes that he’s quite funny.
– Backstage, The System questions Santino Marella about why they aren’t in the Ladder Match, while Ricky Sosa doesn’t seem to deserve his spot after Bound for Glory. Santino replies that he is on leave tonight.

– After the match, Nic Nemeth blasts the Hardy Boyz for forcing him to pin his own brother. He now intends to keep an eye on the Ladder Match later tonight.
– In the backstage area, Expressions demands a title match against AJ Francis from the Hardy Boyz. Matt assures him they will deliver a big match. AJ Francis and Expressions will face the greatest team in history: The Hardy Boyz!
– In the back, Harley Hudson wishes the Righteous good luck before their bout. The Righteous warn Hudson to stay away tonight, as it will be dangerous.

– In the backstage area, Franzie Kazarian and Avery Styles intercept the Hardy Boyz. Kazarian says that when he cashes in his Call Your Shot for the tag titles, he hopes the Hardys are champions at that moment. That would be a great match. Matt notes they have no problem giving Kazarian and Styles the first title shot if they become champions; Kazarian wouldn’t need to use his Call Your Shot.
