The Adidas Arena Trembled last night…
This Tuesday evening, AEW touched down in the hexagon for the very first time, staging an exceptional show: Grand Slam France. A host of legendary matches, viral moments and a wild atmosphere: fans and wrestlers were both present. Will Ospreay, Chris Jericho, Samoa Joe, the Death Riders… The All Elite Wrestling superstars will remember this October 6, 2026 night.
Tommaso Ciampa was on hand at Grand Slam France, notably to confront Andrade El Idolo. After the show, Ciampa took to Instagram to share a strong message, thanking Paris for this beautiful moment.
He declares :
“ Paris, without any doubt, is the best atmosphere in the world 🇫🇷 It’s the first time I’ve had the chance to discover the city and it’s so beautiful. The first thing I did was call Jessie and Willow on FaceTime so they could see the Eiffel Tower before going to school, then I called my mother on FaceTime because I knew she would wake up early enough to see the Tower too.
I don’t really know how wrestlers managed before FaceTime and GPS. I must have walked about 15,000 steps: the Arc de Triomphe, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral… not to mention the incredible dishes and desserts at every street corner.
This trip ended beautifully with a show before the world’s most passionate fans. I am living a true dream and I am just as eager to return home to see my daughters and my puppies. Thank you, Paris.”
