Tony Khan has provided an update on Steven Borden, confirming that he is doing well.
Indeed, during the post-show press conference, Khan said that Borden’s medical examinations went smoothly and that everything looked good. It is reassuring news since AEW expects that he could be discharged from the hospital on September 27 and return home.
It all began at All Out 2026 when Kevin Knight and Steven Borden collided. Borden immediately suffered a traumatic brain injury, and the referee stopped the match on the spot. Borden had to be carried out on a stretcher toward the hospital.
AEW had confirmed during the show that Borden was conscious and remembered his match, as noted by Catch-Newz. The results of his tests had been initially unclear, but that information is now known.
