After John Cena and Cody Rhodes were announced for WWE NXT on November 4, 2026, WWE is filling out the card with a UFC fighter.
Indeed, Robert Stone announced that UFC fighter Michael Chandler will serve as the Special Guest Enforcer for the match between Cruz Montana and Dion Lennox at NXT on November 4.
We should not forget that this will be an unsanctioned match, as WWE does not want to be held responsible for anything that happens during the confrontation.
Thus, Michael Chandler will have the task of maintaining order, serving as a backup referee if necessary, and stepping in if he deems it needed. That means he could stop potential attacks by Darkstate during the bout.
WWE continues to raise the stakes for this show, which will go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite.

A fighter who really loves WWE
This isn’t the first time the TKO group has tapped Michael Chandler to promote UFC on WWE programs.
He has been seen several times ringside during WWE shows with his family. In October 2025, he even pointed out that he wanted to face Logan Paul at SummerSlam 2026. Unfortunately, the match never came to fruition due to Logan Paul’s injury.
In conclusion, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him in a WWE ring someday, as his UFC career winds down. NXT could mark the beginning.
