WWE Evolution had made its return in 2025, but what about the evolution of the Premium Live Event (PLE) in 2026?
WrestleVotes outlined the matter and confirms that there are currently no backstage discussions to organize the 100% women’s PLE in 2026. A piece of information that indicates WWE Evolution will not be an annual event.
WWE created WWE Evolution in 2018 to present a first 100% women’s show. An event that performed well and the concept eventually returned in July 2025. WrestleVotes notes that the July 2025 edition performed worse than the 2018 edition, which was broadcast on the WWE Network. A lower score that affects both the live version and the VOD version.
A result that leads WWE executives to be less happy with Evolution’s results. By default WWE was less interested in relaunching the experiment in 2026.
Now the question remains whether WWE will ever bring back its 100% women’s show to the screens.
