Will Ilja Dragunov Make His Debut at AEW WrestleDream?

October 17, 2026

AEW has released a new video to announce the debut of Ilja Dragunov on its social media channels.

This is a follow-up to the first clip from Dynamite last Wednesday. A video in the same style where the person is shown training from different camera angles, but the face is still not visible.

However, AEW added a note on the video with the AEW WrestleDream hashtag indicating that something related to that topic would be happening:

Will he make his debut during the PPV? There is currently no announced match or surprise appearance on the card for him, but you never know. Or will this simply be the final video to reveal his identity?

We will have the final answer at AEW WrestleDream 2026, which takes place tonight. You can find information about the broadcast and the lineup at this link.
