Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton decided to take it to the next level by agreeing to a Last Man Standing match.
Rhodes aimed to become the legend killer of all legends, while Orton sought to defeat Rhodes as he had done with his father. The Last Man Standing confrontation was therefore the right stipulation to settle their rivalry.
A match where the wrestlers took risks for this confrontation. Rhodes attempted a ladder dive, but he ended up through the commentators’ table when Orton dodged him. Orton also tried attacks of his own, including a Powerbomb through a table.
It was ultimately Cody Rhodes who won this Last Man Standing Match by unleashing his dark side. Rhodes delivered three Cross Rhodes to Orton. While the referee had started the ten-count, Rhodes ordered the referee to stop. It was at that moment that Rhodes positioned himself to execute his Punt Kick on Orton, and Orton was unable to rise.
