WWE does have a contingency plan in place for WWE Crown Jewel 2026.
Indeed, WrestleVotes confirms that WWE still intends to move forward with Crown Jewel 2026 in Saudi Arabia. However, if the situation worsens by November 7 in the country, WWE does indeed have a backup plan with a venue booked in the United States if needed.
It is currently impossible to confirm which venue WWE has booked as a backup. Are we talking about the Performance Center and returning with a show behind closed doors as in the COVID-19 era? Impossible to know at this time.
If WWE indeed relocates Crown Jewel to the United States, WWE will have very little time to sell tickets and fill the arena. The next information on this subject will be watched closely as everything will depend on the situation in the country.
As mentioned on Catch-Newz, Riyadh Season has postponed its first event to late December 2026 due to the regional conflict with the airport having been targeted by bombings.
Et les catcheurs veulent quoi ?
The Wrestling Observer adds information that virtually no one wants to travel to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel because of safety concerns.
This information affects the wrestlers as well as the production team, who internally expressed their disagreement with such a trip. Publicly, no one has addressed the subject since they cannot speak out due to the tension and the millions involved with the WWE–Saudi contract.
Reste à voir si la carte de Crown Jewel 2026 sera impacté par des absents.
