This weekend, WWE will stage the 2026 edition of Money in the Bank. As every year, the wrestling company will present two Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, which will allow a male wrestler and a female wrestler to leave with the briefcase that guarantees a title match at any moment.
But once again this year, WWE seems to have another idea for the main event of the night. Indeed, WrestleVotes reveals that the match pitting Roman Reigns against LA Knight is the main event planned for Money in the Bank 2026. If this is confirmed, it will be the fourth year in a row that the Money in the Bank Ladder Match does not serve as the main event of the PLE.
In 2023, the Usos faced Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa in the Money in the Bank main event. The following year, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton faced Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga. In 2025, John Cena and Logan Paul faced Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso to close the event.
