– Tonight, it’s WWE NXT, the yellow brand show opens with a video highlighting the rivalry between Cruz Montana and Dion Lennox, who will clash tonight.
Tony D’Angelo arrives in the ring and grabs the mic. D’Angelo says that everything he can say, he says to the person. So he invites the NXT Champion to join him. Grayson Waller’s music hits and he enters the ring. Waller says that it is finally time. Since arriving here he knew this would happen this way. The two signed with NXT at the same time, the two started in NXT at the same time, and they even teamed in WarGames. But it seems they always end up clashing. D’Angelo says Waller knows that if it wasn’t a simple match at Heatwave, Waller wouldn’t be champion anymore. Waller says that wouldn’t have changed anything, but he still wants to settle this in a singles match. D’Angelo is on his list of demons.
D’Angelo says that when they started they were unknown. But from day one he hated Waller. He came from the street and as an athlete, while Waller was an unknown Indy guy. Waller just wanted viral moments rather than titles. Waller says that now he cares about both. But D’Angelo was chosen. He has always been there to lend a hand and help him during WarGames with his experience. D’Angelo was chosen by the executives of NXT. That fed his hunger to become champion. D’Angelo says that Waller is hypocritical. It’s fine to see him in top form and motivated, but Waller is still the guy who hides behind a line to grab attention. Waller is a troll. Waller says that it’s part of his personality and D’Angelo forgot his personality at the door long ago. Waller says he wants this match for a long time. He just has to let D’Angelo sink at Halloween Havoc and let him drown. D’Angelo says that in his third match he was busy giving the win to their WarGames team, he isn’t afraid. NXT 2.0 has created stars like Breakker, Hayes, Williams, and Sikoa. Their paths are different, but it all comes back to one-on-one.
Waller says that D’Angelo has won all the titles, D’Angelo even defeated Oba Femi twice. But that doesn’t mean D’Angelo can touch him. The title on him represents more than when Hayes or the others held it. D’Angelo says he has been champion before and he brought prestige. At Halloween Havoc he will drag Waller down into hell.
– In the women’s locker room, Izzi Dame finds the items she had left for Zaria on the floor. Layla Diggs advises her to leave Zaria alone for a while. Diggs says she has not yet had her North American title match before her injury. Dame says she wants to break Zaria into pieces and show who she really is. If she has to deal with distractions like Diggs to carry out her plan, she will.

– Wren Sinclair comes to the ring for the contract signing for Halloween Havoc. Sinclair says that in less than two weeks she will have her chance against Kelani Jordan and the North American Championship. After last week’s events, she cannot let Jordan do whatever she wants. Jordan wants to act as if no one can touch her. At Halloween Havoc she will put down the standard. Sinclair invites Jordan to come sign this contract and stop hiding. Kelani Jordan arrives on the stage. Jordan says that before signing this contract, she brought a gift that she will really enjoy.
