Zilla Fatu opens the show in Orlando!
The Samoan didn’t manage to win the title at NXT Heatwave in Texas, but he won’t throw in the towel just yet. What are his plans for what’s next? At NXT on September 1, the son of Umaga spoke out. He wants the belt and the aura sooner or later. But contrary to expectations, Tristan Angels came out to cut Zilla off. Booed by the entire crowd of the gray show, the Englishman criticized Fatu, saying he wasn’t up to the task.

Later in the evening, a match was officially announced between Tristan Angels and Zilla Fatu. The latter was set to prove himself this Tuesday. In any case, the 26-year-old wrestler managed to win the Orlando crowd over. Tristan put the Samoan in trouble. Zilla bled heavily from the mouth. After a long, action-packed bout, the “Main One” secured his first WWE victory by delivering his spectacular Samoan Spike in full sprint.
After his victory, BirthRight crashed the party to offer Zilla Fatu a deal: Lexis King and his allies want to recruit him. But the son of Umaga understandably refused, and attacked the faction leader. Is this the next rivalry for Zilla in NXT? Will he have to fight alone against his five new enemies?
