WWE RAW: Bayley Returns to Cost Lyra Valkyria Her Qualifying Match

Sol Ruca wants that briefcase, and with a beaming smile she enters to win this qualifying match!

During RAW on September 7, three former Intercontinental champions clashed to earn their ticket to New Orleans. A member of The Vision and the Irishwoman joined the ring, and the match began.

Given their recent tensions, Sol Ruca and Lyra Valkyria obviously started brawling. But Maxxine joined the fray. The former Bayley partner began losing patience, stringing together holds against Ruca. Booed by the crowd, Dupri tried to seize the advantage, to no avail. But just as Lyra Valkyria had applied her Nightwing to seal the win, Bayley appeared out of nowhere to interrupt the pin! The Birmingham crowd erupts!

The Irishwoman is distracted by her rival’s interference, Sol Ruca lands her Sol Snatcher to pin Lyra’s shoulders to the mat. The former NXT wrestler qualifies for the ladder match! But Bayley isn’t done with her foe: the veteran pounds Lyra Valkyria, but the latter manages to escape… What a return for the one we thought had left WWE for good!
