The San Diego hero could have done it this Monday…
During the RAW on October 19, 2026, Chad Gable defends his Intercontinental title once again against luchadores. Rey Mysterio, at home, wants to win this belt. Dragon Lee also harbors the same ambition.
The champion does not back down from anything, and opens strong against this triple threat. The three men delivered a gripping match, blending aerial maneuvers and submission holds. The crowd chants “619” and is fully behind the veteran. Rey came within a hair’s breadth of capturing the title, but Chad Gable was there to snuff out Mysterio’s dreams by trapping him in a roll-up! The champion’s reign continues.
But as Rey Mysterio and Chad Gable congratulated each other after this great match, Ethan Page and Big Cass arrive to sow discord. Booed by the crowd, “All Ego” floors the champion and raises the title… When the Canadian get his chance?
HORRIBLE 😨 @OfficialEGO and Big Cass DESTROY all three competitors following the match! https://t.co/2JNL9zHuJX
