What a debut for this brand-new team!
We hadn’t seen this duo in the ring since Backlash 2026 in May: on SmackDown of September 4, the veteran The Miz teamed up with his apprentice Kit Wilson in Cleveland to face an ambitious new alliance… The Bakusai duo, composed of Kyoki and Shinsuke Nakamura, made their WWE debut for the very first time.
From the opening bell, Kyoki surged ahead of the former member of Pretty Deadly. The Miz was also overwhelmed by the Japanese competitor, before he tagged in Shinsuke. Kit’s partner saved him at the last moment from a pin, and the match continued. And ultimately, thanks to a devastating jawbreaker, Kyoki pinned Wilson’s shoulders for his first WWE victory. The two Japanese wrestlers gained momentum in the race for the tag team titles.
And precisely, accompanied by Haku, the MFTs interrupted Bakusai’s celebration to confront them this Friday. What did you think of the debuts of the Kyoki-Nakamura duo?
