All-new champions were crowned tonight!
On SmackDown of October 9, 2026, Tatum Paxley and Alexa Bliss challenged Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid for these prestigious belts. Originally, Charlotte Flair was slated to participate in this showdown, but the Queen was attacked backstage by Jade Cagill and her allies. Alexa stepped in to team with the former NXT Champion.
As a result, all the female wrestlers were barred from the area around the ring for the title bout, including Jacy Jayne. The match kicked off with real intensity, and the challengers did not back down. Yet in the face of the champions’ talent, they were quickly overwhelmed. Tatum continues to shine in the ring, glowing beside her friend. And as Fallon and Lainey attempted to cheat, the referee caught on to the ruse. Alexa Bliss neutralized Reid outside the ring, before Tatum delivered her Cemetery Drive for the final victory!
The reign of the Fatal Influence champions ends after 83 days, right here in Louisiana. Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley pulled off a very shrewd move on the eve of Money in the Bank. How will Charlotte Flair respond after this triumph? And what about Jacy Jayne, after the loss of her partners’ titles? To prevent this weekend from turning sour for Fatal Influence, the United States Champion must absolutely grab the briefcase this Saturday in the Money in the Bank ladder match…
THE NEW CHAMPS!! 🏆 Congratulations to @AlexaBliss_WWE and @TatumPaxley! https://t.co/tehB5nSI4S
